The article presents the results of potentiometric titration of the solution containing Hg (II) by the solution of sodium diethylditheocarbamate (DDTC-Na). The effectiveness of electrochemical analysis is define by presence of the most appropriate indicator system. The possibility of using carbon composite electrode (CCE) as a sensors for mercury ions determination has been explored. Conditions for potentiometric determination of Hg (II) (titrant, indicating electrode, pH, response time, and range of concentrations) were studied.
