The influence of thermal treatment regime on mechanism of thermoelastic martensite transformations has been studied in [001]L21-oriented single crystals of Ni48Fe19Ga27Co6 ferromagnetic alloy. The investigation was carried out in as-grown state and after high-temperature annealing at 1373 K, 0,5 h and at 1448 K, 1 h, where heterophase structure with γ(γ′)-particles is formed. It was shown, that γ(γ′)-particles became larger, martensitic transformation temperatures, thermal and mechanical hysteresis increased with higher temperature and time treatment in comparison with the initial as-grown state. The maximum elastocaloric effect reaches ~9 K in as-grown state and after annealing at 1373 K, 0,5 h.
