Natural convective heat transfer in a rotating cubic cavity under an effect of non-uniform temperature profile at vertical wall has been investigated numerically. The cavity is subjected to counterclockwise rotation around the z-axis with a constant angular velocity. One vertical wall of the cavity is cooled, while the opposite wall is heated unevenly. Other cavity walls are adiabatic. The working fluid is Newtonian, heat-conducting and satisfying the Boussinesq approximation. The basic equations formulated using the vector potential functions and vorticity vector have been solved by the finite difference method. The effects of non-uniform heating and rotating on heat transfer have been investigated.
