At the present stage of development of the Russian economy, the main factor of economic growth is the digital economy, which contributes to increasing the competitiveness of regions and their economies in the face of global challenges. To the greatest extent, the process of digitalization affects the financial markets, and primarily the banking sector and the banking services market. One of the consequences of digitalization is a change in the behavior of consumers of banking services. With the development of remote banking services, consumers are able to use banking services without the help of a bank employee. The activities of regional banks are more focused on small customers, which is a positive point, while large banks and their structural divisions cooperate more with larger customers. The development of Internet services that more than fully provide knowledge about banking services increases the level of freedom of choice of consumers, which leads to a change in their behavior patterns.
