The article discusses the main arguments against relativism in the epistemology and philosophy of language. In epistemology and language philosophy, relativism is justified as negative in terms of rationality and objectivity. The author reveals the position of researchers in the sociology of science and the main arguments for and against the issue of the possibility of reflexivity in relativism. The position of the sociology of science represented by the studies of S. Woolgar offers a variant of constitutive reflexivity, which can be used as additions to research reports in the form of ―local stories‖ that provide an ―internal history‖ of how the study was conducted. S. Vulgar understands constitutive reflection not within the framework of the transcendental position as implicit attitudes but as introspection - ―an inside look‖, a kind of introspection.
